We don’t believe in 'generic' activities. Every Weekly Discovery Pack contains six Stones, but how those Stones are used depends entirely on the unique "team" in your living room.
One Theme, Two Experiences
If you have two children's boxes, they will each have their own Stone activities. To a casual observer, the cards may look similar and share the same theme, but the interaction is fundamentally different.
Let’s take a closer look at a specific Stone from our current month. In the Story Stone for Week Three, each child’s box contains its own activity. While the theme is unified, the way your children interact with the artifacts is tailored to their developmental pace.
Here is how the Bridge brings these specific "teams" together:
For 2-year-old Tammy: Her Story Stone focuses on Sensory Discovery. She is invited to handle the physical artifact—perhaps a small, wooden bird or a smooth river rock—while you read the rhythm of the story. Her goal is to connect the "magic" of the object to the sounds of the words.
For 4-year-old Rupert: His Story Stone focuses on Narrative Leadership. Using the same artifacts, he is prompted to "read" the pictures to Tammy or predict what Pippin the Robin will do next.
The Bridge: Rupert builds confidence by "teaching" the story, while Tammy builds her foundation by experiencing the wonder of it. They aren't just sitting near each other; they are sharing a world.
For 3-year-old Jordan: His Story Stone focuses on Sequential Logic. He is prompted to place the artifacts in the order they appear in the story—first the nest, then the egg, then the bird.
For 4-year-old Brittany: Her Story Stone focuses on Creative Inquiry. She is asked to imagine a "Next Chapter" for the characters, using the artifacts to act out a new scene.
The Bridge: As Jordan builds the sequence, Brittany expands the story. They work together on the same rug, with the same items, but their brains are working on entirely different developmental problems.
